Director of Emergency Services

Shift: Days | Salary: $130K–$140K+ (DOE; up to $145K for 10+ yrs exp.) A leading acute care hospital in Houston is seeking a Director of Emergency Services to lead operations for a busy Emergency Department in a 300+ bed facility. This hospital has a long-standing reputation for excellence, advanced certifications, and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Position Overview: The Director will oversee the Emergency Department’s operations, staffing, quality initiatives, and compliance to ensure delivery of exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities: Direct daily operations, patient care, and staffing Lead patient satisfaction and quality improvement efforts Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards Mentor and develop clinical and leadership teams Manage departmental budget and strategic planning Qualifications: 2+ years RECENT acute care Director of ED experience (or strong ED Manager with 3–5 yrs leadership exp.)
