About the Role:
Gensinger Fire Protection LLC is looking for a skilled Fire Sprinkler Mechanic to join our team in Centereach, NY! This is a great opportunity to work with a dedicated fire protection company where your craftsmanship and expertise will help keep homes and businesses safe every day.

Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in residential and commercial properties
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for sprinkler system layouts
• Cut, thread, and fit pipe for sprinkler system installations
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on existing fire suppression systems
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning sprinkler heads, valves, and related components
• Ensure all work complies with NFPA codes, local fire codes, and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years experience in fire sprinkler installation, service, repair, inspection and maintenance.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 25, and applicable fire protection codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency with pipe fitting, threading, and hand/power tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation 
• Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious, and dependable work ethic
• OSHA 30 preferred OSHA 10 mandatory
