Position Overview We are currently hiring for a Petroleum Construction Technician capable of gathering site information, working independently on small projects, and being a strong team player for larger projects. This full‑time position offers competitive pay and benefits, along with opportunities for career growth. Pay Pay ranges from $30–$35 per hour based on experience and includes full benefits, PTO, 401(k) with match, plus a company truck, gas card, cell phone, and laptop. Your Mission Complete site walks and provide insights on construction projects. Assist with site preparation, including setting up and removing structures and tools. Operate hand tools and construction equipment. Work independently and/or with a team to complete installation of drop tubes, risers, fuel lines, spill buckets, and other petroleum‑related components. Pour and finish small sections of concrete, including setting rebar. Load, unload, and transport construction materials. Conduct testing, maintenance, and repair of petroleum fuel lines and tanks. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and customer requirements. Maintain a safe and organized work environment through daily site clean‑up. Support skilled tradespeople and follow safety procedures on the job site. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed. What You Bring to the Table High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in construction, petroleum systems, or mechanical/electrical services. Prior experience with fuel dispensers, pumps, hydraulic equipment, or in the petroleum construction industry is a plus. Strong physical stamina for tasks requiring lifting (up to 75 lbs), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting. Ability to operate construction tools and machinery. Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills. Strong desire to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks. A commitment to safety with knowledge of industry safety protocols. Before You Leap Some positions require travel and overnight stays. Travel expenses will be covered by Nwestco, LLC. Pre‑employment Requirements All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the following: Ability to pass pre‑employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting. Ability to pass pre‑employment drug‑screening and background check. This position is classified as safety‑sensitive , it requires the applicant to pass a comprehensive drug test, including screening for marijuana, as a condition of employment.
