Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will work with a team delivering next-generation customer self-service solutions using Genesys technologies. This role involves leveraging tools such as Microsoft Copilot and other AI technologies to improve productivity and accelerate solution delivery. The position requires significant experience across multiple software implementations and a strong depth and breadth in IVR and Genesys technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support IVR, voice, and chat solutions in a cloud environment.
• Partner with business and technology teams to ensure solutions align with strategic objectives.
• Drive the evolution of customer experiences by developing AI-powered contact center capabilities.
• Develop conversational voice and chat solutions, intelligent automation, and virtual assistant technologies.
• Handle senior management expectations from both technology and line of business departments.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Primary skill in Genesys IVR.
• Experience with conversational AI, chatbots, voice bots, and cloud-based contact center platforms.
• Strong AI skills with experience in using MS Copilot for data extraction, transformation, reporting, and analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL, including joins, aggregations, and optimization.
• Experience with data mapping, business rules documentation, and report validation.
• Hands-on experience with data extraction, transformation, reporting, and analysis.
• Proficiency in UX/UI design using GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot to create wireframes, user journeys, and prototypes.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to generate front-end code and reusable UI components.

General Skills:

• Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into technical logic.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in data quality checks, reconciliation, and exception reporting.
• Ability to troubleshoot data issues, performance issues, and reporting discrepancies.
• Communication skills to work with business users, technology teams, and data stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business requirements into intuitive, user-centric designs.
• Analytical and design-thinking skills with experience in usability testing and design optimization.

Work Environment

This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring a minimum of three days onsite per week.
