This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, based on qualifications and experience. This position is situated in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Ashburn, Virginia, where you will work closely with a variety of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities

• Comply with state practice acts and adhere to legal regulations governing physical therapy practice, ensuring the highest standards of care.
• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations to formulate individualized treatment plans for patients with functional limitations and disabilities.
• Implement and monitor treatment protocols based on assessment findings, adapting as necessary to align with patient progress and health care advancements.
• Provide comprehensive evaluation services, including detailed history reviews, functional assessments, and documentation of patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to facilitate comprehensive patient care, promptly recognizing and addressing any changes in patient conditions.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up processes, ensuring effective continuity of care through accurate documentation and timely communications.
• Participate in facility meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient access and care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatient orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will provide hands-on therapy, patient education, and support tailored to complement their rehabilitation journey. This position demands a compassionate approach and strong interpersonal skills, as you will build rapport and trust with a diverse range of patients, including those from different backgrounds and age groups.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist (PT) by the relevant state authority in Virginia.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field; Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Proficient in interpreting patient evaluations and crafting tailored therapy plans.
• Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse patient populations and adapt treatment plans according to individual needs.
• Experience with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems.
