Service Refrigeration Technician

Join The Freije TeamWe are seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration/HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role requires a strong background in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration and HVAC systems, particularly in supermarkets, cold storage, commercial, and industrial sites. Responsibilities include:Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on refrigeration and HVAC systems, including supermarkets, single systems, parallel racks, display cases, and walk-in boxes.Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and microprocessor control systems.Conduct leak detection procedures and ensure system efficiency.Provide exceptional customer service through timely and high-quality repairs.Maintain detailed service records with photos and notes.Adhere to company policies and procedures.Qualifications:Minimum 4 years of experience in supermarket refrigeration/freezer systems.Knowledge of Novar, CPC, Danfoss Energy Management Controls, and Rack Refrigeration.Proficiency in HVAC systems, including package units and split systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer service abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Valid driver's license and clean driving record.EPA certification required.High school diploma or GED.What We Offer:Competitive salary.Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance - Health Insurance starting at 99 cents per week.Retirement savings plan with company match.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Join us at freije and play a key role in our continued success and growth.
