About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of providing a compassionate continuum of crisis care and support. The successful candidate will be a community-minded leader with a strong background in mental health, social services, or a related nonprofit sector. Responsibilities for this role include providing overall organizational leadership in partnership with the Board of Directors, leading strategic planning, and overseeing the day-to-day financial management and budgeting. The Executive Director will also be responsible for successful fundraising, including grant management, and will be expected to have a genuine interest in community engagement and relationship building. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' of Executive Director-level experience, a proven track record in fundraising, and the ability to create a safe, positive, and inclusive workplace. Key tasks for the Executive Director at the company will involve leading fundraising and development efforts, overseeing HR functions in a unionized work environment, and directly supervising a small team. The role is pivotal in representing the organization throughout the community and supporting various education and outreach programs. The Executive Director will be a visible and active member of the community, with a strong commitment to the organization's mission and values.
