Details Operating Room unit within a 20-OR surgical suite Surgical population includes Gynecology, General, Urology, Robotics, Oncology, Orthopedics (Joint Replacements, Sports Medicine, Oncology), Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, and Interventional Pulmonology cases 10-hour evening shift schedule, 40 hours per week First week of orientation is 5 days, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM On-call required up to 4 times per month, including weekends and holidays Short call is 2 hours after a shift, once per week Weekend call covers 7a-7p or 7p-7a once a month Overnight weeknight call from 7p-7a Requirements Active MA RN license required in hand at time of consideration 1-3 years of related OR nursing experience required Strong orthopedic and total joints surgical experience required Scrub experience required Experience in a teaching hospital setting preferred Specialty area expertise preferred Required vaccines include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed Additional Information Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical specialties Weekly orientation begins every Monday, barring holidays Holiday coverage required as part of the on-call rotation Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered Previous Beth Israel Lahey Health employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning Parking near the facility can cost up to $43 per day American Traveler Job ID P-750578.
