As part of TCEQ Compliance and Enforcement, you would help ensure that those we regulate comply with the state's environmental laws. This position is a member of our Waco Regional Office.Here's what you'll be doing:Manages and communicates information regarding compliance and enforcement activities for the region's Air and Waste Program.Coordinates, schedules, monitors, and communicates information regarding the progress of the region's Air Program.Completes personnel management functions, which includes interviewing, hiring, and developing staff, performance management, etc.Advises the Regional Director of significant program issues.Provides outreach and technical assistance to the general public, regulated community, media, and government officials.Provides technical and programmatic input for regulation development.Key qualifications:Experience supervising technical groups.Required education and experience: Experience in the management of a business function, division, or department relevant to assignment.
