This includes offloading, sorting, unpacking and prepping new receipts.Essential FunctionsSupport and administer receipt and dispatch of merchandise and supplies according to company standards.Process merchandise ensuring items are floor ready, tagged, and ticketedComplete price changes, damages/salvages, job outsReceive and record trailer deliveryMaximize stockroom space and maintain the highest level of organization and efficiencyMaintain a clean, organized and safe receiving and stockroom spaceProtect Company assets, adhering to all operational procedures including, Access Control, Merchandise Protection, Risk Management, Receiving & Processing and Fine JewelrySupport Selling Team members when needed by providing a positive customer experienceQualifications and CompetenciesHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredStrong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of customers and peersAbility to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manualsFrequent use of computers - Able to use and navigate multiple technological devicesAbility to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidaysPhysical RequirementsPosition requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store or departmentMay involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, color vision and climbing laddersFrequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job duties, including handheld electronic equipment.Frequently lift/move up to 50lbsThis job description is not all-inclusive and may not apply to colleagues covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
