Rate of Pay: $30-$32/hour depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus based on company goals

Work Schedule/Hours: 2ND SHIFT - Shift Differential $2.50/hour Hours: 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Job Description

Our Machinist produces machined parts by operating manual machines, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Read, write, speak and comprehend English. Add, subtract, multiply, divide, and work with fractional measurements and decimals. Set up, adjust, and operate all machine tools in your area of responsibility to produce various parts within specifications from blueprints. Read and understand manufacturing mechanical blueprints, and use good basic math skills in addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. Work accurately with basic keyboard and monitor to enter work order data and correct qualities as required. Hold very close tolerances and surface finish requirements. Working knowledge or ability to learn to use a micrometer, depth micrometer, dial indicators, CMM, and other precision measuring instruments. Maintain conscientious work behaviors including work ethic, safety standards, quality, costs, and On-Time Delivery (OTD)

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or GED equivalent. 5+ years of manual machining The ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and other documents. Proficiency with measuring equipment, such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers. Computer proficiency. Experience working with stainless steel or duplex stainless steel preferred.
