Summary The Finance Director will work directly with leadership and oversee the financial department, developing strategies, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. The role coordinates with the Accounting team and other internal departments. Duties and Responsibilities Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Prepare and present detailed financial reports, forecasts, and risk analyses to senior leadership. Monitor cash flow, profitability, and capital expenditures to ensure financial stability. Develop and manage budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and efficient resource allocation. Collaborate with Operations, Coordinated Services, and Administrative Services. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth, profitability, and long‑term sustainability. Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborate with executive management to guide strategic decision-making with financial insights and analysis. Manage relationships with internal management, auditors, and other key stakeholders. Lead financial audits and ensure all financial records and reports are accurate. Implement financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate risks. Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations for cost management and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with all financial laws and regulations, including tax planning, compliance, and audits. Provide leadership and direction to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Supervision Supervision Given: The Finance Director does not supervise anyone. Supervision Received: The Finance Director reports to the Chief Executive Office. Education Graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Certification CPA (preferred, not required). Experience 5+ years of exempt-level accounting experience within a multi‑site behavioral health or healthcare setting. 10+ years of demonstrable experience as a Financial Director, Chief Financial Officer, or in a senior finance leadership role. Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks). Schedule Monday through Friday with accessibility to attend meetings at local accountant’s office and with supervisor.
