Step into an impactful role supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract assignment for the entire school year. Your expertise will drive student success as you manage a caseload that includes conducting comprehensive speech-language assessments, developing and updating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing direct therapy, and participating in meetings as a valued team member. Work is focused on high school-age students, and responsibilities include both direct and indirect services—with all hours worked within the contractual schedule fully compensated, including paid travel time between assignments (excluding mileage).

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for the state of Virginia
• Experience in school-based or similar settings preferred
• Strong understanding of assessments, IEP processes, and educational documentation
• Ability to provide both direct therapy and indirect support services
• Confident participation in virtual interviews (Zoom or Teams)

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and conduct student speech/language evaluations and assessments
• Develop, manage, and update student IEPs
• Deliver direct speech-language therapy tailored to individual student needs
• Attend IEP meetings as an integral team member and provide insight on student progress
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation
