Corporate Associate – Mergers & Acquisitions/ Private Equity Locations: New York, NY, Experience: 3–6 Years Salary: $180,000–$315,000 per year Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days in office Job Overview One of our Client is Seeking Corporate Associate – Mergers & Acquisitions to join its Corporate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of corporate law experience , with a strong background in M&A and general corporate and commercial matters . This is an excellent opportunity to work with public and private companies, private equity funds, and financial institutions on sophisticated corporate transactions in a collaborative and client-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with and manage mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions . Lead legal due diligence teams and coordinate transaction specialists. Draft, review, and negotiate transaction and corporate documents . Advise clients on general corporate and commercial matters. Collaborate with partners, clients, specialists, and opposing counsel throughout transactions. Manage multiple assignments and transactions with minimal supervision. Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice while maintaining strong client service. Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. 3–6 years of corporate law experience . Significant experience with M&A transactions and general corporate/commercial matters . Experience leading due diligence teams and managing transaction specialists. Strong legal drafting, writing, analytical, and communication skills . Superior academic credentials. Ability to manage multiple assignments independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork, collaboration, and client-service skills. Base Salary: $180,000–$315,000, depending on experience and location. Productivity and discretionary bonuses.
