Step into an impactful role supporting elementary students with speech and language needs for the current school year. This contract opportunity, located just north of Detroit, offers you the chance to make a real difference in a thriving educational setting. Work alongside passionate professionals, delivering high-quality therapy and collaborating to foster student growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CFY) considered
- Experience working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Competency in developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to an elementary caseload
- Assess, diagnose, and provide interventions for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and track student progress
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service teams to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs and learning styles
