Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions.Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence.Evaluates performance (including IoT devices, etc.) of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence.Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. With a focus on innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are committed to delivering RMS solutions that exceed expectations and set new standards for performance and reliability.THE WORKAnalyze and interpret electrical, electromechanical, and cable schematics during development and production stages.Update and create assembly work instructions for efficient assembly based on the drawings and/or modelsInvestigate technical problems and provide guidance in support of manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing failures and help implement corrective action which may include design change recommendations.Support the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the manufacturing processProvide input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.Identify and maintain tool lists required for the efficient assembly of the given products. Our mission-driven organization is dedicated to making a positive impact in the world, and we're looking for talented and passionate individuals to help us achieve our goals.Basic QualificationsAwarded Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace EngineeringTwo or more years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processesFamiliarity with cable and/or harnesses production, and has the ability to analyze electrical and mechanical schematics and diagramsMust be highly detailed-oriented due to the nature of electrical & electromechanical assembliesExcellent verbal/written communications skillsMicrosoft Office suite experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelDesired SkillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.Experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a similar industry Familiarity with SAP (Qnotes, Routings, Bills of material) or a related manufacturing system Familiarity with design for manufacturing concepts and application Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts and technique and experience generating/implementing process improvementsMust have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.Excellent verbal/written communications skills Self-starter with demonstrated self-initiated goals and resultsDemonstrated capability to multitask in support of multiple concurrent programs and initiativesPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
