Concrete Repair Laborer

Job Overview Structured Technologies VSL seeks a construction field technician with no welding duties required. The role focuses on concrete repair and post-tensioning tasks across multiple projects in Fort Worth, Texas and beyond. Responsibilities Work alongside a Foreman/Superintendent to execute daily tasks Perform general concrete repair (demolition, rebar installation, carpentry, concrete pours, finishing) and operate power-tools (rotary hammers, chipping hammers, hammer drills) Conduct post-tension repair, rebar/post-tension installation and stressing Travel independently between projects Qualifications Focused on safety in all situations and environments Comfortable with standard PPE at construction sites Team and solution oriented, proactive, professional, positive attitude Experienced construction field technician or laborer Advantageous if familiar with concrete repair, formwork, finishing, grouting, and placement/tying of rebar Advantageous if familiar with installation and/or stressing of post-tensioning systems Familiarity with new construction and existing buildings Comfortable working at heights Ability to read and speak English Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Good hand-eye coordination; able to stand for extended periods Motivated to work more than 40 hours per week Desire to grow and advance within the company with commensurate salary growth Additional Requirements Must provide own transportation and a valid driver’s license; pass DMV record screening Pre-employment drug screen required Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Tools provided Vision insurance Pay and Schedule Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Schedule: 8‑hour or 10‑hour shift Job Type and Location Full-time, Contract, Temporary In person Occasional meetings in the Fort Worth, Texas office EEO Statement EOE/M/F/D/V #J-18808-Ljbffr
