Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Location

Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit with a 4:1 to 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Care for stroke patients in accordance with stroke certification protocols and standards
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
• Float within scope of practice to other units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing requirements
• Participate in facility orientation modules, including both billable and non-billable components, as required by specialty

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; first-time travel nurses are not eligible
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Stroke certification required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the contracted facility (local candidates are not eligible)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an IMC, PCU, or Stepdown setting
• Familiarity with stroke patient care protocols and neurological assessment
