This facility operates an 8-bed inpatient unit with an annual emergency department volume of 23,000 visits. The facility is structured as an intermediate step between a freestanding emergency department and a full medical center, providing a focused level of inpatient care. Established clinical protocols and appropriate resources are in place to support quality patient care delivery.

The area offers a range of activities suited to varied interests, including observation deck experiences, sightseeing tours, and aquarium visits. Lewisville Lake provides outdoor recreation options such as swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, camping, and birding, with several parks situated along its shores. Nature preserves and walking tours are also available for those seeking additional ways to explore the region.

Clinicians will provide hospitalist coverage on-site during day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in an 8-hour shift structure. The daily average census is 6 patients, and clinicians will manage inpatient medical conditions within a clinic-based unit. No call responsibilities are required outside of assigned shift hours. Board certification is required for this locum tenens assignment.
