Collections Representative This position is remote in West Hills, CA. Interested candidates should be located within commutable distance to the office at 8407 Fallbrook Ave West Hills, CA 91304. Pay range: $20.44 - $26/hour Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Responsibilities Responsible for managing Third - Party AR by analyzing denied and un-responded claims Outbound calls to insurance carriers to appeal and check claims status Post explanation of benefits Coordinate with insurance carriers to reconcile / resolve any issues Familiar with explanation of benefits Maintain Compliance and HIPAA standards at all times Meet or exceed daily production standards by maintaining work list according to metrics Meet or exceed daily quality standards Perform other duties and functions as assigned Process insurance / patient refunds and adjustments Evaluate and respond to all emails request for any deposit issues in order to resolve in a timely manner Qualifications Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED Must be 18 years of age OR older Ability to create and modify spreadsheets within Microsoft Excel Ability to work between the hours of 7:00AM 5:30PM PST from Monday Friday Preferred Qualifications: Medical Billing experience Familiar with explanation of benefits Telecommuting Requirements: Reside within a commutable distance from 8407 Fallbrook Ave West Hills, CA 91304 with ability to come onsite for meetings Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Soft Skills: Ability to navigate on internet for researching purposes Problem solving, organization and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Communication skills, both Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for Employment in accordance with the following laws if applicable, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, the Los Angeles' Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, and the California Fair Chance Act.
