Accounting Clerk

Accounting Clerk Location : In office at our Sherman Oaks CA location

Full-time, 40 hours/Week Wage : $20-$23/HR

Hours: 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday *

Position Summary

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the organization's cash flow through timely invoicing.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Receive, post, and reconcile customer payments
• Apply payments to customer accounts accurately
• Process checks, ACH payments, wire transfers, and credit card transactions and other forms of payments
• Assist with month-end and mid-month reports
  • * if month end falls on weekend, may require 4-5 hours on weekend
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Support continuous improvement efforts within accounting processes

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 1-3 years of accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience preferred
• Quick learner, reliable, teamwork mentality

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Dynamics a plus
• Efficiency with 10-key.
• Ability to work on weekends if month end falls on weekend.
• Knowledge of outlook and excel.
• Experience with CUBS is a plus.
