Security Guard - Night Shift

Title: Security Guard Location: Nashville, TN – Onsite (7.5 hrs Daily - 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM – Night Shift) Duration: 5.5 Years Responsibilities Performs various security activities, such as patrolling facilities, monitoring alarms and security systems, checking safety hazards, and identifying violations of laws and rules. Operates security equipment in the performance of duties, including two-way radios, communication devices, patrol vehicles, and other transportation vehicles. Controls the entrance and exit of individuals by verifying identity, purpose of visit, and authorization. Escorts individuals as needed to ensure their safety. Respond to calls and take appropriate action to assist in emergency situations. Searches for and apprehends missing or unauthorized individuals. Reports security concerns to supervisors. Communicates with law enforcement agencies to exchange information and request assistance. Prepares and maintains various reports, including incident reports, vehicle citations, visitor logs, and personal property reports. Tools & Equipment Motor Vehicles and Golf Carts Security Surveillance and Monitoring Equipment Two-Way Radios and Other Communication Devices Restraint Devices and Other Security Equipment Computers Education and Experience Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school is required. Qualifying full-time law enforcement, security, or related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
