RESOLUTIONS RECOVERY CENTER

JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION: Program Technician Full and Part Time

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent

ACCOUNTABILITY: Answers directly to the Program Technician Supervisor

DEGREE OF SUPERVISION: Meets with the Program Technician Supervisor as needed to address program needs. Supervision will occur individually and in group formats.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Check the staff log daily and note any return or loss of privileges and any communications that have been sent since your last shift.

2. Ensure that all scheduled programming and activities run smoothly by being proactively aware of all activities, groups, mealtimes, scheduled appointments, and scheduled breaks.

3. Responsible for running psychoeducational groups on topics that align with the assigned treatment plans.

4. Completing all assigned paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

5. Ensuring that all meals are prepped and served in a safe timely manner and checking all temperature logs and documenting them with every meal.

6. Providing transportation to clients for assigned activities, appointments, court hearings, discharges and admits.

7. Maintaining an accurate log of all personal belongings in accordance with Resolutions Recovery Center’s admission process.

8. Maintains confidentiality standards with regard to client service records and client identifying information according to state, federal and agency guidelines.

9. Participates in Quality Assurance program through privileged involvement with Professional Staff organization and agency.

10. Participates in supervision as needed based on program needs. Supervision will occur with either the Program Technician Supervisor or Clinical Director and will occur in both individual and group formats.

11. Assures accurate documentation of services through:

a. Review of client record.

b. All psychoeducational notes completed and placed in the chart within 24 hours of contact.

c. Filing of all group sign in sheets and signing all clinical activity logs for clients that were or weren’t present.

d. Proper documentation of all adverse events through a progress note and making sure that all information is relayed to the clinical staff.

12. Other duties as assigned.

11. Participates in staff development program according to agency policies and procedures.

12. Reports all unusual incidents and accidents according to agency procedures.

13. Participates in agency health and safety practices and drills.

14. Attends all scheduled staff meetings, supervision meetings and committee meetings as designated.

15. Upholds all agency policies, procedures and regulations; and supports the overall mission and philosophy of the agency.

16. Maintains harmonious relations within and outside the agency in conducting agency business.

17. Maintains professional appearance at all times with regard to appropriate office attire. Any exceptions or special circumstances require prior approval of supervisor.

18. Other related administrative/clinical functions as assigned by the Clinical Director and/or Chief Executive Officer.
