New up and coming Steak and Oyster bar concept in the Sandy Springs/ Dunwoody area! Opening in Spring/ Summer 2027. We are looking for a Sous Chef who has experience in Steak and Seafood and an abiliity to work with a live-fire grill.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food management and fine dining, with the ability to lead and inspire a team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in food production, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation while adhering to food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
• Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff in cooking techniques and kitchen management.
• Help manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
• Participate in menu planning, costing, and portion control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a fine dining or high-volume kitchen setting.
• Steakhouse experience: live-fire grill knowledge
• Strong knowledge of food management principles, including food safety standards.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
• Proficient in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food production processes.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
