About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to serve as a senior operational leader with a focus on the day-to-day performance, efficiency, and integration of hospital operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with executive, clinical, and departmental leaders to ensure high-quality patient care, operational excellence, and financial performance. This role involves overseeing core hospital functions, driving process improvement, and optimizing patient flow while maintaining alignment with strategic, regulatory, and financial goals. The Vice President of Operations will also be tasked with leading a portfolio of hospital departments, supervising department leaders, and ensuring effective coordination to support seamless patient care and operational flow. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field, with at least 7 years of progressive healthcare operations leadership experience, ideally within an acute care hospital setting. The role requires a strong knowledge of hospital operations, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement methodologies, as well as a proven ability to lead teams, drive change, and execute in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments. The candidate must possess excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, and be adept at fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration. Responsibilities also include strategic execution, financial and resource management, and a focus on quality, compliance, and patient experience.
