Details\n \n Speech-Language Pathology role in the NICU with floating to pediatric and adult units as needed \n Caseload-dependent patient ratios \n Utilizes Meditech Magic and Meditech Expanse EMR systems \n Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM \n 13-week assignment with no weekend or on-call requirements \n Requirements\n \n Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA \n Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology (license required if applicable) \n Neonatal experience required \n Modified Barium Swallow Study experience required \n Pediatric and adult experience preferred \n Minimum of 1 year of experience \n US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration \n No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months \n Additional Information\n \n Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities in patients with impairments resulting from premature birth, birth injuries, disease, or other conditions \n Develop and implement individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice and patient age/development \n Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement and assess intervention programs \n Requires strong self-motivation, independence, and a proactive approach to patient care \n Dress code requires dark blue scrubs with bare-below-the-elbows attire in the NICU \n Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered \n First-time travelers may be considered \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-731208.
