Industrial Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Location: Edison, NJ
Pay: $30.00–$37.00/hour
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Schedule: Flexible — 1st or 2nd Shift Available
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with older industrial machinery.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
Repair and rebuild bearings, shafts, gears, gearboxes, motors, belts, chains, and couplings.
Troubleshoot basic PLC-controlled equipment.
Read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Qualifications
Hands-on industrial machinery maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with hydraulics, bearings, shafts, gears, motors, and mechanical power transmission.
Experience with older/legacy PLC-controlled equipment is a plus.
Ability to work independently and safely.
Ideal background: Industrial Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, Electro-Mechanical Technician, Millwright, or Machinery Repair Technician.
