Financial Analyst

Financial AnalystLutron has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst to support our Operations Finance Team. This position will be a key part of the Corporate Finance Team supporting management decision-making with reporting and analysis in a cross-functional environment. A successful Lead Financial Analyst will have a working knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, strong data manipulation skills, and the initiative to learn and add value to the business.ResponsibilitiesManage the annual budget process for business partners, including monthly data analysis of variance to budgetAccurately prepare consolidated monthly and quarterly forecasts based on key drivers from leaders across the organizationAnalyze trends in operating expenses, capital expenditures and other related areasIdentify opportunities for efficiency improvement and cost savings through analysis of large data setsAnalyze the financial impact, risks, and opportunities of business decisions proposed by leadershipPrepare monthly variance analyses and support and enhance financial reportingResearch and understand cost drivers based on historical trends in data and expected performanceLead business reviews with business partners and the finance teamProvide detailed financial analytics in support of monthly updatesEquip business partners with the data they need to meet or exceed financial commitmentsProactively make recommendations to business partners regarding risks and opportunitiesPartner with accounting during the monthly close process and ensure compliance with Lutron's accounting policiesProvide data and visuals for board of director and audit committee presentationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field requiredMinimum cumulative 3.00 GPA required for all degrees earned3+ years of work experience preferred; minimum 1 year of work experience in finance and/or accounting with monthly reporting responsibility requiredStrong Excel data analytical skills requiredExperience in manufacturing is preferredExperience in SAP is a plusYou are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future.
