We are seeking?a?mid-level civil engineer to join our growing team?in Folsom or Santa Clarita, CA. In this role, you will perform a variety of civil and water resource planning and design tasks. Our team specializes in developing innovative and cost-effective solutions for our clients' most challenging water resources, drinking water, wastewater, and recycled water projects.

What You'll Do:

• Perform engineering design for water supply infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, well sites, and related facilities

• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) modeling using tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HEC-FDA, InfoWater, and other industry-standard software

• Prepare technical calculations, design drawings, specifications, and reports to support project deliverables

• Assist in feasibility studies, alternatives analyses, and preliminary engineering evaluations for water/wastewater and flood control projects

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project goals, regulatory requirements, and client expectations

• Coordinate with subconsultants throughout all project phases, from planning and design through commissioning

• Support senior-level engineers and project managers by providing direction to staff engineers

• Participate in field investigations, site assessments, and data collection to support engineering analyses

• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities to ensure successful project execution

• Maintain a good record of project successes as demonstrated by repeat business from one or more clients?

• Manage project delivery and meet client needs and expectations

• Actively participate in relevant professional organizations

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related engineering field with a focus on water resources, environmental, or hydraulic engineering

• PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 yr

• 4-8 years of experience in the water resources field

• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D

• Experience with levee design efforts, including evaluation, analysis, and preparation of engineering design documents, is preferred

• Stormwater system design projects, including drainage infrastructure and comprehensive stormwater master planning, are preferred

Salary Range:

$115,000-$145,000
