This contract opportunity is full-time, working onsite with elementary students who require targeted behavioral and academic interventions. The role is ideal for educators with experience in creating and implementing IEPs for a range of exceptionalities and a passion for fostering a positive, structured learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

• State of South Carolina Special Education Teacher Certification: Multi-categorical (PK–Grade 12), or eligibility to obtain certification.
• Direct experience working with IEP processes and developing/monitoring IEP goals.
• Availability to work onsite in person, adhering to the full school day and school year calendar.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and behavioral support to students in an elementary BIC classroom, focusing on individual academic and emotional needs.
• Develop, implement, and update IEPs, working closely with families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure student success.
• Employ a variety of evidence-based strategies to foster positive classroom management and student engagement.
• Collect and analyze data to track progress towards IEP goals and adjust interventions as needed.
• Promote an inclusive, supportive classroom culture tailored to diverse learning needs.
