Make a difference in young lives by supporting preschool students on the autism spectrum as a Special Education Case Manager. This rewarding contract position offers an opportunity to provide vital early intervention services for children ages 3 to 4 in a structured, nurturing school environment. Key qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education for the appropriate grade/age level
• Experience or training in early childhood special education, ideally with preschool-aged children
• Strong understanding of autism and evidence-based instructional strategies
• Excellent collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to design and implement IEPs, track progress, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams

What you’ll do:

• Serve as the Special Education Case Manager for all preschool students with autism
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and staff
• Create engaging, individualized lesson plans targeting developmental and academic milestones
• Adapt curriculum and provide support for students’ unique learning needs
• Communicate regularly with parents, therapists, and classroom teachers
• Maintain documentation and compliance with federal and state education regulations
• Participate in relevant training and professional development
• Work exclusively at one school site for continuity and relationship building

Contract details:

• Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
• Immediate start date upon completion of HR clearance
• End date in May 2027, offering long-term stability
• Manage caseloads that may fluctuate as new students are identified
