What You’ll Do:

• Reconcile bank accounts and balance general and subsidiary ledgers daily
• Compile and process segments of monthly closings, monthly and annual reports
• Verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency of accounting information received
• Code documents in accordance with the accounts listing and record disbursements, expenses, and other payments
• Research and resolve discrepancies independently; contact other departments or outside agencies as needed to resolve common issues
• Maintain all assigned general ledger accounts current and in balance daily
• Prepare all reports within prescribed timeframes with a high standard of accuracy

What We’re Looking For:

• 3-5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel including formulas, sorting, filtering, and basic data analysis
• Strong attention to detail – zero-error accuracy in reconciliations and reports is the standard in this role
• Ability to research and resolve discrepancies independently and recommend process improvements
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with members, vendors, and internal teams
• Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills
