Procurement SpecialistWe are seeking a hands-on, relationship-driven Procurement Specialist to help restaurant and hospitality customers improve purchasing performance, reduce costs, and strengthen supplier relationships.This role combines procurement expertise, strategic sourcing, analytics, and customer relationship management. The ideal candidate understands foodservice purchasing and can not only identify savings opportunities, but also communicate recommendations effectively and influence customers to put those recommendations into action.Procurement Specialist Benefits/Compensation:Base salary of $90K–$110K20% variable compensation based on revenue growthOpportunity to join a growing restaurant technology companyHighly visible, customer-facing positionCentral Time Zone preferredProcurement Specialist Requirements/Responsibilities:5–10+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chainRestaurant, foodservice, hospitality, or food & beverage procurement experience strongly preferredAnalyze customer purchasing and spend data to identify cost savings and purchasing opportunitiesSource products and recommend alternative products, suppliers, or distributors when appropriateNegotiate vendor pricing, terms, contracts, and purchasing programsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and restaurant customersHelp customers evaluate recommendations and successfully implement purchasing changesManage multiple customer relationships while providing a consultative, high-touch experienceResolve supplier, pricing, availability, and product-quality issuesIdentify opportunities to expand the vendor network and develop additional rebate or purchasing programsPartner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and other internal teamsStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret purchasing, pricing, and spend dataExcellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsComfortable working independently in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environmentPreferred Experience:Multi-unit restaurant procurementFoodservice distributors, GPOs, or procurement-as-a-service organizationsFood, beverage, ingredient, or restaurant supply categoriesVendor rebate programsRestaurant technology or SaaSExisting relationships within the foodservice supplier/distributor community
