Sales Associate

We are looking for a motivated and commercially curious Sales Associate to join Prospect 33 in New York. Prospect 33 is an established specialist firm, founded in 2005, that partners with global financial institutions and develops AI, data, and technology solutions for some of the world’s leading banks and financial services organisations. This role is suited to someone who thinks AI first. We are looking for a person who is excited by how AI is changing financial services and who naturally looks for smarter ways to research markets, identify prospects, support outreach, manage client information, and improve the sales process. The Sales Associate will support the sales team by identifying prospective clients, conducting outreach, maintaining CRM records, preparing client materials, and helping manage relationships across the sales cycle. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants exposure to enterprise sales, financial services, and applied AI in a highly specialised consulting environment. Responsibilities Research and identify prospective clients, target accounts, and new business opportunities Conduct outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone Qualify leads and schedule meetings for senior sales team members Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pipeline activity, and follow-ups in the CRM system Use AI tools thoughtfully to support research, outreach preparation, meeting notes, CRM hygiene, and sales materials Assist with preparing sales presentations, proposals, meeting materials, and client briefings Follow up with prospects and existing clients to maintain engagement Monitor industry trends, market developments, competitor activity, and AI adoption across financial services Collaborate with marketing, operations, and delivery teams on sales initiatives Support the sales team in achieving monthly and quarterly targets Provide excellent client service and represent Prospect 33 professionally Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Finance, Technology, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organisational and time management abilities Comfortable speaking with clients and building professional relationships Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, and goal-focused Strong follow-through on tasks, client communications, and internal actions Previous internship, customer service, sales, business development, or financial services experience is a plus Preferred Skills Interest in AI, data, technology, and financial services AI-first mindset, with a willingness to use AI tools to improve research, outreach, CRM hygiene, presentations, and day-to-day sales activity Curiosity about how AI is being adopted by banks, asset managers, and other global financial institutions Familiarity with LinkedIn and professional networking Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar is a plus Strong research and problem-solving skills Interest in sales, business development, and client relationship management Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Comfortable learning new tools and finding smarter ways to work using technology #J-18808-Ljbffr
