Travel Cardiac Sonographer – New Haven, Connecticut This position is for a Travel Cardiac Sonographer scheduled to begin on 29 June 2026. The assignment will last 13 weeks, with a commitment of 40 hours per week (10‑hour days). Travel employment. Job Details Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Under the direction of supervising physicians in the Non‑Invasive Cardiology Lab, prepare patients for examination and perform all 2‑dimensional echoes, M‑mode and Doppler studies. Prepare preliminary interpretation of studies. Maintain patient records related to echo studies. Assist supervising physicians with training residents, fellows, faculty and other physicians. Demonstrate knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology. Read, interpret, and apply physicians’ orders, policies, procedures, and written and verbal instructions. Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology. Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound. Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and accurate preliminary interpretation. Graduate of a cardiac echocardiography technology program.
