  • Manage case strategy, litigation oversight, court appearances, and escalation of complex or high-risk matters.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships through regular communication, reporting, responsiveness, and delivery of high-quality legal services.
  • Monitor workflow, staffing, deadlines, and operational metrics to improve efficiency and case performance.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on budgeting, staffing, business development, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to support operational consistency and risk management.
  • Review and approve pleadings, motions, settlement strategies, and legal analyses as needed.
  • Coordinate with courts, trustees, vendors, and opposing counsel to ensure timely resolution of matters.
  • Stay current on changes in creditor’s rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and consumer protection laws and communicate developments to the team.
  • Foster a professional, accountable, and client-focused culture within the office and across practice groups.
  • May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
  • May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.

Experience and Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities with experience motivating and developing legal professionals and staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively interact with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and internal teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, particularly in complex or sensitive legal matters.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through responsiveness and strategic guidance.
  • Adaptability and ability to lead through regulatory, operational, and industry changes.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments and practice groups.
  • Extensive knowledge of creditor’s rights law, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, eviction, collections, and related litigation.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal laws and regulations affecting creditors’ rights practices, including compliance requirements and consumer protection laws.
  • Litigation management experience, including case strategy, motion practice, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
  • Experience managing high-volume legal operations and workflow systems.
  • Proficiency with case management software, legal research platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to analyze operational metrics, productivity reports, and financial performance indicators.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, and approving legal pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence.
  • Knowledge of court procedures, filing systems, and investor or servicer guidelines relevant to creditor representation.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in creditor’s rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or related civil litigation practice.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience leading attorneys and legal support staff in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume caseloads and meeting strict client and court deadlines.
  • Experience working with mortgage servicers, financial institutions, investors, or creditor clients preferred.
  • Proven track record of operational leadership, client relationship management, and strategic decision-making.
  • Experience with multi-state practice management or regulatory compliance oversight is a plus.

Work Schedule:
