This role focuses on creating systems, workflows, and AI-powered solutions that make complex legal work more scalable, organized, and efficient.You will own contract operations, document management, legal intake processes, and cross-functional coordination—transforming sophisticated legal work across co-brand partnerships, bank arrangements, capital markets transactions, and vendor contracting into organized, repeatable systems.This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and eager to leverage AI tools to improve how a high-growth fintech legal team operates.What Success Looks Like In The First 90 DaysLeveraged AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to identify automation opportunities and implement workflow improvementsBecame a reliable cross-functional partner to BD, Finance, Capital Markets, Compliance, Product, and Operations for legal process executionConducted first-pass review and issue-spotting for lower-complexity NDAs, vendor agreements, order forms, and amendmentsSupported capital markets, bank partnership, and co-brand program work by extracting key terms, comparing drafts, creating summaries, and maintaining document setsReduced attorney time spent on repetitive diligence and KYC requests, document management, and business-facing legal process questionsResponsibilitiesCreate clause libraries, playbooks, diligence checklists, and repeatable workflows that make legal work more searchable and scalableLeverage AI tools to automate repetitive tasks, improve document analysis, and increase team efficiencyProactively identify gaps in legal operations and propose structured solutionsCoordinate cross-functionally with commercial, finance, capital markets, compliance, product, and operations teams on legal process executionConduct first pass contract review, issue-spotting, and diligence for vendor agreements, NDAs, routine procurement contractsBuild and maintain contract trackers, obligation logs, renewal calendars, closing binders, and legal request intake systemsSupport capital markets transactions, bank partnerships, and co-brand programs by summarizing agreements, extracting key terms, comparing drafts, and organizing document setsMaintain organized, accurate, and confidential records of legal documents, obligations, and deadlinesQualificationsRequired2–5 years of experience in legal operations, contract operations, paralegal work, or similar rolesStrong analytical reading and writing ability with excellent attention to detailGenuine interest in AI and eagerness to leverage AI tools to improve efficiencyDemonstrated ability to review contracts and legal documents carefully, spotting issues, definitions, obligations, deadlines, and cross-referencesComfort working with confidential legal, business, and financial informationStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneouslyComfort operating in ambiguity and fast-paced environmentsClear written communication and ability to produce reliable work productWillingness to learn complex legal and business concepts across fintech, partnerships, banking, and capital marketsNice to HaveExperience in fintech, payments, credit cards, banking, lending or similar fieldBackground supporting corporate legal departments, law firms, compliance teams, or contract operationsFamiliarity with diligence processes, partner-facing businesses, or regulated industriesExperience with document comparison tools, trackers, checklists, and structured summariesExposure to co-brand partnerships, bank partner programs, receivables structures, or compliance workflowsPerks & BenefitsCompetitive compensation and equity packagesLeading configured work computers of your choiceFlexible paid time offFully covered, high-quality healthcare, including fully covered dependent coverageAdditional health coverage includes access to One Medical and the option to enroll in an FSA20 weeks of paid parental leave for the primary caregiver and 8 weeks for all new parentsAccess to industry-leading technology across all of our business units, stemming from our philosophy that we should invest in resources for our team that foster innovation, optimization, and productivityImprint is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
