Patient Services Specialist

*Teksystems is currently hiring for a Medical Patient Service Coordinator role in the Pasadena, CA area! *
*MUST HAVE: 1-2 years of medical receptionist, medical front desk, patient service coordinator, or medical scheduling experience. *
*Description*
Warmly greet every patient with eye contact, a smile, and a positive statement
Guide and explain new patients through paperwork and be a resource for any questions they may have
Patient Registration
insurance authorizations and verifications
Collect co-pays
Excellent customer service
*Additional Skills & Qualifications*
Must have at least 1+ years working in a medical front desk/healthcare field
must have experience collecting/verifying insurance
Must have excellent customer service in person and over the phone
Must be able to multitask and manage heavy workload
Bilingual spanish/english HIGHLY preferred, but not a must
Must have strong computer skills

*Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
