Job Description

As a Security Officer Entry Systems Coordinator in Roanoke TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location you will monitor entry points verify authorized access and support a secure environment for employees visitors and operations. You will maintain a visible presence help deter security-related incidents and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients visitors and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures access control policies and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at an industrial facility verify credentials maintain visitor and contractor logs and control entry and exit in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas including business operations loading areas parking facilities and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Document daily activities access-control events and unusual occurrences in clear accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state county or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
