Electrical Supervisor

Electrical SupervisorDematic is seeking a talented Electrical Supervisor. Be a part of a growing team at Dematic! In this position you will have the opportunity to work on different customer projects and locations. The employee may be based anywhere in the continental USA, however, must be willing to travel 100% to customer locations.Responsibilities include:Installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor qualityQuality checklists and submittal of Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identifiedOn-site safety including but not limited to safety auditsAssists with routine equipment trial runs to ensure that it meets specifications and assure equipment is installed to Dematic standardsProvides on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager and/or customerProvides assistance with training of contract labor and subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipmentWrites concise, clear, and completes trip reports in the time frame required according to Dematic proceduresIdentifies problems as they occur and suggests appropriate steps to solve them in situations where the problem is not difficult or complexTravel on short notice and spend up to 100% of the time traveling; must be willing to be on call and travel accordinglyPush, pull, crawl, squat and walk around large construction sites in various climates and conditionsLift at least 50 lbs.Tasks and qualifications include:Ten years (minimum) experience in troubleshooting electromechanical equipmentService experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experience required. Associate's Degree preferred.Experience with quality assuranceOSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferredAble to lift at least 50 lbsWillingness to work weekends, holidays and off shifts - offer OT compensationMust have knowledge in the use of personal computers, data base functions and communications.Understanding personal computer hardware setup and software configuration required.Possess a valid driver's license.
