Role Description The Visual Merchandiser is a part-time, on-site role located in Grand Rapids, MI. This role is responsible for creating engaging and cohesive in-store displays, including window and floor layouts, that reflect the Vintage Charm brand and drive customer interest. Day-to-day tasks include arranging merchandise, refreshing displays based on seasonality and promotions, maintaining visual standards throughout the store, and ensuring products are well-stocked and attractively presented. The Visual Merchandiser collaborates with store leadership and sales associates to support retail goals, optimize product placement, and respond to customer feedback. This role also assists with styling mannequins, preparing the store for special events, and adhering to safety and cleanliness guidelines in all display areas. Qualifications Strong retail and customer service skills, with experience in a boutique or fashion-focused environment. Ability to create effective window displays and in-store visual presentations aligned with brand guidelines. Sales and communication skills to engage customers, explain styling ideas, and support retail objectives. Attention to detail, creativity, and a strong sense of aesthetics for fashion and lifestyle merchandising. Ability to work on-site in Grand Rapids, MI, including evenings, weekends, and peak retail periods as needed. Comfort with physical aspects of the role, such as lifting, moving fixtures, and standing for extended periods.
