Senior Technical Advisor

The primary purpose of the GS-11 position is to serve as ARPC's senior technical advisor on military Guard and Reserve service dates and pay computations and life-cycle management programs. Plans, directs, organizes, manages and exercises supervisory controls over subordinate employees assigned to the Reserve Service Programs Management Branch.

DUTIES

Provides senior technical and expert advice and guidance on Air Force Reserves and Guard (ARG) Reserve Service Management (RSM) programs and systems.
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Reserve Service Programs Branch ensuring that the various life-cycle service dates and record authenticity comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
Represents the Reserve Service Programs Branch with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Responds to Air Force, DoD, Congressional and other high level inquiries.
Responsible for researching, analyzing, evaluating and determining appropriate status and proper assignment within IRR/Standby reserve.
