This role assists healthcare providers with patient intake, routine procedures, and documentation, while ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program. High school diploma or GED; completion of a Medical Assistant training program from an accredited institution or equivalent experience as allowed by state law. Typically two (2) years of experience as a medical assistant or in a similar clinical support role. Current certification as a Medical Assistant through an accredited professional organization (e.g., AAMA, AMT, ARMA, NCCT, NHA, NAHP, AMCA) or equivalent credential as recognized by Kettering Health. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
