Bartender
We are seeking high-energy, hospitality & quality oriented bartenders to join our service team. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented bar role with opportunites for career advancement.
An ideal candidate…
Is comfortable interacting with guests and members of our community
Asserts leadership pertaining to the management of guests and experiences
Has the ability to multi-task and function well under pressure
Demonstrates strong spirits, food & beverage knowledge and an eagerness to continue to learn and understand our product
Is proficient in the use of POS systems and/or able to quickly learn and utilize these programs
Expresses an eagerness to continue learning and staying up-to-date with our industry
Possesses a fluent understanding of the basic functions of a high volume, upscale casual restaurant
Is a team-oriented individual, willing to contribute to the success of everyone within the organization
Some responsibilities include…
Preparation and service of cocktails, spirits, wines and non-alcoholic beverages
Participate in cocktail curation and R&D
Prep ingredients for the bar before/after service shifts as well as work prep shifts
Manage the dining experience for guests joining at the bar: take orders, inquire and understand dietary restrictions, explain the menu and dining style in detail
Ring food & beverage orders into the POS system
Address questions about the food, beverage and restaurant
Assist with wine service and corkage when appropriate
Initiate the maintenance and re-set of the bar, lounge tables and service stations. I.E., clear plates, replenish silverware, napkins, etc.
