Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time day-shift position.

• Tuesday - Friday 8:00am - 6:30pm
• Some holidays are required

Compensation

• Starting at $22-30/hr, commensurate with experience.

What You'll Do

• As a Dental Veterinary Technician Assistant, you'll play a key role in ensuring our dentistry department runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our Board Certified Veterinarian.
• Support preparation and post-procedure care for sedated or anesthetized patients.
• Assist with advanced periodontal diagnostics and procedures, endodontic therapy, prosthodontic procedures, periodontal surgery and oral surgery.
• Be responsible for loading appointments, intake, estimates, discharges, etc.,
• Clean and restock exam rooms, treatment areas, etc.
• Accurately handle and care for instruments appropriately, including appropriate selection of cleaning agents, lubricants, examination of function, identification and assembly and preparation for sterilization
• Operate steam sterilization equipment including routine cleaning and maintenance

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experienced veterinary assistant
• Experience assisting with veterinary dentistry preferred
• Strong skills in patient handling, clinical support and dental imaging
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) a plus
• A positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care
