Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position with the following schedule:

• Tuesday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM (may vary)
• Some holidays are required

Compensation

• Starting at $27/hour, commensurate with experience and licensure

What You'll Do

• Assist in maxillofacial examination for detailed evaluation of the teeth, oral cavity, jaws, and surrounding structures
• Prepare patients and dental equipment, ensuring safety, sterility, and proper setup.
• Monitor anesthesia and vital signs throughout dental and surgical procedures.
• Assist with advanced periodontal procedures, endodontic therapy, prosthodontic procedures, periodontal surgery, and oral surgery.
• Educate clients about oral health care, post-procedure instructions, preventive strategies.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) credential in good standing.
• Experience assisting with veterinary dentistry preferred.
• Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, patient handling, clinical support, and dental imaging.
• Excellent communication skills with team members and pet owners.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with veterinary medical software (e.g., EzyVet, SmartFlow) a plus
• A positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care
