Maintenance Mechanic II

Pay Range: $23.15 - $34.73 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II to join our team. Monitors, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on the components of the central utilities plant, including but not limited to, steam/heating/domestic hot water boilers; generators; heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment; and incinerator (as applicable). Assists with work on other building systems and components. Certifications, Licenses and Registrations Valid state driver’s license and must be insurable to operate hospital vehicles is required. Power Plant Operating Engineer – Second Class License is recommended HVAC Certification is preferred. Illinois: For positions covered under collective bargaining agreement, completion of hospital approved training program and minimum of four years at the Mechanic I level will be considered in lieu of license/certification.
