Classic Q Sports Bar fast-paced Upscale Sports Club in Newport Beach seeking a Restaurant /Bar Floor Manager reporting to the General Manager. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of bar/restaurant management experience, a winning personality, great customer service skills, and a passion for providing a great experience. Starting Pay at $73,000 annual salary.
Duties:
· Responsible for maintaining a smooth and efficient operation.
· Self-Motivated and Energetic Team Player willing to help others and get the job done.
· Hands on with the ability and energy to continually direct and support staff in a confident and enthusiastic manner.
· Maintain complete knowledge for all liquors, wines, and beers on hand.
· Handling of guests in a professional and efficient manner.
· Provide a pleasant guest experience in all aspects of the operation
· Ability to work in a fast-paced sports bar environment and multi-task
· Basic knowledge of BOH operations.
· Staff Scheduling
· Sports knowledge and programming a Plus!!
· Ability to handle cash efficiently and accurately
· Must have an open availability
· Ability to walk/stand for 8-10 hours
· Avg. 45 hrs/week
· Aloha POS a Plus!!
· Background check will be conducted
Other Criteria
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support staff in day to day operations.
- Oversee guest services and resolve issues
- Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needs
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain professional relationships with guests and staff
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or other related fields
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Dispute resolution skills
- Basic problem solving capabilities
