Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026–2027 school year, specializing in speech-language pathology services within a dynamic K–12 educational environment. This full-time position is based near Los Angeles, CA, and is open to both local and travel professionals eager to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives. Caseload assignments are thoughtfully tailored to each candidate’s experience and preference, with opportunities to support students with moderate to profound needs across elementary and early childhood settings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in California
- Experience working with pediatric and school-age populations, including early childhood and elementary levels
- Strong knowledge of assessment, intervention, and IEP development for diverse caseloads
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K–12, adapting interventions to individual and group needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Conduct thorough assessments and document progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with faculty and support staff to deliver comprehensive, student-centered support
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary team discussions
