Central Monitor Telemetry Technician is responsible for accurately interpreting telemetry data, promptly identifying abnormalities and coordinating with health professionals to address patient needs. What you will do
- Monitor patient vital signs using telemetry equipment
- Identify and report abnormalities in telemetry data to healthcare professionals
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure appropriate patient care interventions
- Maintain telemetry equipment and ensure its proper functioning
- Document relevant patient data and telemetry observations
- Participate in training sessions to remain updated with telemetry technology
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Successful completion of Basic Dysrhythmia Course Preferred
- less than 1 year Entry-level experience in medical technology Preferred
- 1-3 years Experience in telemetry or patient monitoring Preferred
- less than 1 year Experience in a healthcare setting Preferred
